Knock Knock! The Show Has Arrived

About the Show

Knock Knock Ginger is a socially distant, outdoor, live theatre series. The performances happen right on the front lawn of the audience while they watch through their window! We’re pleased to announce our Spring 2022 series running from March 30th to May 8th.

An opportunity for all you beautiful Winnipeggers to enjoy a free live performance from the comfort of your own home. Viewed through the audience’s windows, the show is performed in your front yard… backyard… courtyard (wherever you like- because: all the world’s a stage!).

Interested in booking a FREE show? Simply book your date online! Shows are family friendly and 10-15 minutes in length, original soundless productions performed by a cornucopia of the Peg’s professional theatre community. When the show is about to begin the performer will knock or ring the doorbell. You can peer through your window, sit back, relax and enjoy!

MEET THE PERFORMERS

About the Show

A surprise performer arrives at your home ready to perform. Shows are family friendly and 10-15 minutes in length, original soundless productions performed by a cornucopia of the Peg’s professional theatre community. When the show is about to begin the performer will knock or ring the doorbell. You can peer through your window, sit back, relax and enjoy!

Our first rendition of Knock Knock Ginger took place in early 2021, amidst a tough COVID-19 lockdown. Within days of announcing we sold out all 70 performances, featuring original work by: Kara & Cuinn Joseph, Jean van der Merwe, Spenser Payne, Eric Blais (and family), Tanner Manson, and Charlene van Beukenhout. Audiences were thrilled at the return of live theatre, and our artists' hearts were warmed by the reception and the opportunity to do what we do best: perform in the flesh! Our 2nd rendition of this program is coming in Autumn 2021.
